PRINT READY
What does that mean?
When you send your file into Speedy Print you can save time & money by making sure that it:
- is in the pdf file format.
- the pdf is the correct size for what you want printed (including bleed).
- has no text within 4mm of the edge
of the document.
Why? The pdf format makes sure that the document we print looks like what you see on your computer screen. If you send us a Word document, Powerpoint file, or other format, it's highly likely that we won't have the same fonts on our computers and the file will change if we open it to print. The size needs to be correct so that you end up with what you are wanting. The 4mm area around the edge allows us to cut your document to size without cutting any important text off.

Set up your documents for a

Here are the some of the standard sizes we use for our business cards, rack cards, and folding A4 brochures. Along with the A series paper sizes. For everything A3 and under we impose onto SRA3 sheets (450mm x 320mm) to run through our printing press. Anything over A3 we print on our large format printers which have a maximum width of 900mm.

PANEL SIZES
Folding brochures are made up of a total of six panels.
U-Fold
A u-fold is where there is a smaller panel that is folded into the brochure.
The outside panels are:

& the inside panels are:

Z-Fold
A z-fold is folded like a fan.
All the panels are 99 mm
